BLUEPRINT SAFETY LLC · NEW JERSEY · REMOTE PROGRAM BUILD-OUT
Starting a construction company? Build your safety program from the ground up.
I’ll help you build a full written safety program package around the trades, tasks and equipment you expect to use, and the OSHA requirements that apply to that work. I work remotely with contractors in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. We’ll agree on the included documents, price and timing before paid work starts.
Free preliminary consultation · 30 minutes · No obligation.
Start with what your company will actually do
A safety manual pulled off a shelf may not fit the work you take on. Before I draft anything, I’ll learn what your crews do, what equipment and materials they use, and what your GC, owner or customers expect you to provide.
Map the work
We’ll go through your trades, planned tasks, equipment, materials, crew roles and the work you expect to take on.
Set the document scope
I’ll identify the written programs and supporting materials that fit the work and requirements we discuss. The quote will name the documents included.
Build and review
I’ll prepare the agreed documents remotely, then review the completed package with you before delivery.
What can be part of the build-out?
The right package depends on your operations. Depending on the scope we agree to, it may include:
- A written company safety policy and clear safety responsibilities.
- Written safety programs tied to the trades, tasks and hazards you identify.
- Supporting forms or records needed to use and maintain the agreed documents.
- Requirements from a GC, owner or prequalification account that you need to address.
I’ll confirm the actual deliverables, fee and timing with you before paid work starts. Price dependent on scope.
How the build-out moves forward
01
Talk through the company
Tell me the work you plan to perform and what your customers have asked you to provide.
02
Identify what belongs in the package
We’ll use your work details and available requirements to define which documents fit the scope.
03
Review the quote
I’ll list the deliverables, fee and timing. You decide whether to proceed.
04
Build the agreed program
Once you approve the scope, I’ll prepare the documents and review the package with you.
Documents help. Your company has to put the program to work.
For construction work, OSHA places responsibility on the employer to initiate and maintain programs needed to comply with the applicable standards. Those programs must provide for frequent and regular jobsite, materials and equipment inspections by competent persons designated by the employer. OSHA also requires employers to instruct employees in recognizing and avoiding unsafe conditions and the requirements that apply to their work.
I prepare written materials remotely; I do not perform jobsite inspections. Your company remains responsible for implementing the program, assigning the people who will carry out required duties, providing required training, and keeping the documents current as the work changes. A written package by itself cannot guarantee OSHA compliance.
Read the applicable rules: 29 CFR 1926.20 and 29 CFR 1926.21.
Questions about starting a safety program
Can you build the program from scratch?
Yes. We’ll start with the work your company plans to perform, the people and equipment involved, and the requirements you need to address. The quote will spell out the documents included.
Will the documents guarantee OSHA compliance?
No. Documents are one part of a safety program. Your company must apply the requirements to its actual work, train employees as required, assign responsible people and carry out its duties in the field.
Is this service remote?
Yes. I work from the company and project information you provide and discuss the scope with you remotely. The service does not include a site visit or jobsite inspection.
How much does a full build-out cost?
Price dependent on scope. After we discuss the work and documents needed, I’ll send a quote with the deliverables, fee and timing before paid work begins.
