Blueprint Safety LLC is a New Jersey safety consulting firm built around one principle: a program is only useful if it reflects how the work actually happens.
Founder
Michael Smolar
Owner & Lead Safety Consultant
Michael has nearly two decades in the construction industry, with a background in heavy civil work and pharmaceutical project construction management safety. He's held roles as Regional Safety Manager, Health & Safety Director, and Safety Manager across multiple New Jersey-area firms before launching Blueprint Safety LLC.
The thing he kept seeing across those roles: contractors handed binders of templated safety programs that bore no resemblance to the work their crews were doing. Blueprint Safety LLC exists to fix that — to write programs, manuals, and JHAs that a foreman could pick up at 6:30 a.m. and actually use.
