ISNetworld Compliance Requirements for NJ Contractors
When a hiring client uses ISNetworld, your safety information needs to match what that client asks for. Keep the client’s checklist in front of you as you prepare and update documents.
What ISNetworld reviews
ISNetworld collects information requested by hiring clients, and its Review and Verification Services (RAVS) team reviews submitted documents against regulatory and hiring-client requirements. The topics and supporting information can vary by client, so check the requirements listed in your account before preparing or uploading a document.
Check each request before submitting
Before uploading a file, open the related requirement in your account and check what the hiring client has requested. Confirm that the document covers the work, includes the information the requirement calls for and is current. If a request is unclear, ask the hiring client or ISNetworld support rather than guessing.
Requirements and review timing can differ by hiring client. If more than one client is attached to your account, check each client’s list separately instead of assuming one submission satisfies both.
Before you submit
Start with the current request in your account. Depending on what the hiring client asks for, you may need:
- Written safety programs addressing the topics the hiring client requests
- EMR, DART or OSHA 300/300A information, if requested; check that it matches your records
- Safety representative details, if the hiring client requests them
- Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for the work, if requested
- Training records for the programs or roles listed in the request
- Certificates of insurance that meet the limits stated by the hiring client
- Subcontractor information or documents, if requested
If a hiring client has asked for a document and you’re unsure what to send, request a free 30-minute preliminary consultation. We can talk through the requirement and the documents you already have.
